COREHOLE

Standard

COREHOLE type

While the HOLE or EDGE card specifies which edge to calculate, the COREHOLE card determines how the core state is treated. There are three options : none, equivalent to the old NOHOLE card, meaning there is no core hole ; RPA, meaning the screen module calculates an RPA-screened core hole ; or the default of using a simple Final State Rule core hole (for any other value of `type' or when the COREHOLE card is not present). It is recommended to use the RPA core hole for k-space calculations.

* To use the RPA screened core hole :
COREHOLE RPA
* To calculate without a core hole :
COREHOLE none
* To use a regular (non-screened) core hole :
COREHOLE regular * or simply omit the card
